About the composer...
Born in Benoni, Noël Stockton was a well-know South African composer, arranger, performer and pedagogue with career that spanned over 50 years.
Stockton was a member of the PACOFS Symphony Orchestra and for 17 years her was the Senior Lecturer at the Musicon in Bloemfontein. He was also a lecturer in Jazz Studies and Theory at the University of the Free State as well as Pretoria University.
He was the conductor and music director in several productions that include Pacofs Goes Pop, Romeo and Juliet, the Wiz as well as Noel Stockton Big Band I and II.
Stockton has enriched the South African through his contribution in music.
